Description: Monday - Matthew 3:1-12 Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near! These are the words John the Baptist preached in the Desert of Judea. While he was preaching, many Pharisees and Sadducees approached him. These men claimed to be Abraham’s descendants, and they thought that this was their golden ticket to heaven. But John set them straight. He warned them it is not ancestry or ritualism that prepares and saves people.
