Scripture Lesson:Philippians 2:5-11
Preacher: Christopher Royce
Description: Tuesday – Philippians 2:5-11 Jesus, the conquering King, arrived not in pomp and splendor, but in humbleness. Although he was true God, he became man. Although he is all-powerful, he became a servant. Although he is immortal and eternal, he died. Laying aside his glory, he willingly gave his life to a shameful death. And in doing so, he won the peace of forgiveness for all who believe. The King came humbly, not to claim a throne, but to ascend the hill of Golgotha, where he would fulfill his mission and save his people. On account of this, he received the highest of glories – that all would bend the knee and know the name of Jesus Christ.
