Scripture Lesson:Isaiah 43:16-24
Preacher: David Marquardt
Description: Tuesday – Isaiah 43:16-24 Reject and redeem. Israel had rejected the Lord. This is a glaring fact of most of their history. This is a glaring fact of the gospel and of this lesson. The Savior came to redeem that; the Savior came to redeem the very ones who reject him. What’s even more amazing is that the Lord’s appeal in this lesson is not so much for the people not to reject him, but that they forget that they have rejected him. The Lord wants them back! “Forget the former things: do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” Service Regular chapel order Speaker David Marquardt Hymns 382-My Hope Is Built on Nothing Less 466-Though Thoughtless Thousands Choose Organist Prof. Tiefel
