Scripture Lesson:James 5:7-11
Preacher: Dan Rodewald
Description: Thursday – James 5:7-11 When Christ returns, our joy won’t be able to be contained. But in this current life, our joy can be overshadowed by suffering and troubles. James encourages us to be patient in this suffering, and points us to the prophets and to Job as examples of patient joy in suffering. How could they be so patient? How could they be so joyful? They knew the Lord is full of compassion and mercy, and they knew the promises their Lord had made to them – promises of everlasting life and unending joy.
