Scripture Lesson:Philippians 3:12-21
Preacher: Matt Steinfeldt
Description: Tuesday, October 6th ReadingPhilippians 3:12-21 In beautiful metaphor, St. Paul describes the life of faith for the Christian who is both sinner and saint. We strain ahead, striving for our heavenly goal. For we know that the devil, the world and our sinful flesh will resist us every step of the way. But we need not fear them. Christ, who has overcome will “transform our lowly bodies to be like his glorious body.” In his great patience, God continually strengthens us. So, we fix our eyes on Christ, who will create in us fruits of faith as he continues to strengthen us through the means of grace.
