Scripture Lesson:John 3:14-21
Preacher: Prof. Degner
Description: Reading: John 3:14-21 In his discourse with Nicodemus, Jesus teaches who he is, what he came to do, and how he does it. The son of man had to be lifted up to save the people. Just like those suffering in the wilderness looked, believed and were saved, so is the world. God’s love for the world drove him to the most extreme action: to send his Son to save it. God’s Son who has come into the world is the light that saves. Rejoice, even though the suffering for sin is horrible and many reject, that God sent his Son to save you. But we ask you graciously to cleanse us from all sin and to comfort us with your salvation; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
