The Psalms are a very precious and beloved book, a little Bible within the Bible, a window into the heart of Christ and his holy people. The Psalms clearly proclaim the life, death, and resurrection of Christ, who graciously shares all things with his Church. A close look at the structure of the five books and a close study of 10 select psalms will encourage a life of pondering, praying, and singing the Psalms—in the pastor’s own devotional life and in his ministry to Christ’s flock.
