The Book of Joel – God’s Word for a Time of Crisis

In this course, we will consider the background of the book of Joel, we will read the Hebrew text, we will discuss the main theological messages of the book, and we will give thought to how the book can be used in ministry today. In our minds throughout will be the realization that this book is a message from God to people in the midst of a national crisis.
During Winterim 2025, this course runs from 9:50am–12:30pm, January 6–10, 2025.
Registration will be available in the Student Information System (SIS) beginning September 9, 2024 and closes December 6, 2024. When you've reached the "cart" during registration, there you will have the option to add the tuition fee to take the course for credit (the default registration is an audit).
Financial assistance is also available. If your congregation is paying for your tuition, please submit a financial aid request form with that information so you may receive the tuition discount.
